Electricians Liverpool - How Vintage Lighting Can Transform Any Property

The last couple of days we have been carrying out an installation in a coffee/wine bar in the city centre of Liverpool. The business is under new ownership and is currently having a refurbishment to which we have totally rewired the premises.

The main thing I wanted to show is the vintage lighting, there are two chandeliers from a bygone age and they are stunning, they really compliment the feel of the establishment. See the images below

The pictures I took on my iphone do not do the lights justice!

The lighting is spectacular and really showcases the business, Tony and Alan the business owners have ploughed a lot of time and effort (and expense!) into the property and when finished it will be stunning!!

The bar is called McGuffies and is located on Castle Street, they will be stock a fine selection of guest ales and of course all of us at Orrell Electrics will report back after sampling the beverages!

Had a really busy week with lots of work coming in and lots of quotes for new installations, received some new reviews which as usual were excellent.

Visited an installation which had a fault and had been off for most of the day earlier this evening, this is what greeted me in the bathroom of the installation:

This was a RENTED property, the people who lived at the property said it had been like this since the day they moved in!!

This cable was still connected at the consumer unit, this would be classed as a Code One 'danger present' on an electrical installation condition report.

This is an example of the type of thing that can cause injuries to consumers, worst thing is it was above the bath, anyway I have made it safe and emailed the client with a very strongly worded paragraph.

If this is the type of thing present in your property or business do not hesitate to contact Orrell Electrics, we offer a 24 hour emergency electrician service and we can make your installation safe and reduce the risk of injury or worse significantly.

We are due to start two new fresh domestic rewires this week so lots of early nights this week as it will be a week of smashing, banging and drilling and then some.
